Ordering Process

1. Pick your size, orientation, and finishing. Choose landscape or portrait, then grommets and hemming, hemming only, or no finishing.

2. Decide on your two designs. Use the same artwork for both sides or upload separate files for the front and back.

3. Add any extras. Pole pockets, edge velcro, and Pantone color matching are available if you need them.

4. We print, check, and finish every banner before it ships. Both sides get reviewed for quality and color accuracy.

Finishing Options

Every HotPress KC double-sided vinyl banner ships standard with perimeter hems and grommets every few feet. Because hemming folds the edge of the banner over, finished sizes run approximately true to what you ordered, typically within about 1/2" of the listed dimensions.

Want a different mounting option? You can add:

• Pole pockets; — top only, top and bottom, both sides, or bottom only, at $1.00 per foot for a standard 3" flat pocket that fits a 1" diameter pole

• Edge velcro; — for mounting to a wall, frame, or trade show backdrop system; specify placement in your design instructions

Care Instructions

Clean your double-sided banner with a mild soap and water mix and a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Avoid scrubbing, since it's the printed ink you're protecting, not just the vinyl underneath.

When it's time to store your banner, roll it with the ink side facing in. If it shipped with a sheet of protective nonstick paper, place that over the print side before rolling to keep the two printed faces from touching. Store rolled banners upright in a cool, dry space between uses.

Art & Design Specs

• Recommended file types: PDF, AI, PSD, JPG, TIFF.

• No bleed needed. Set your file up at full print size. For example, artwork for a 3' x 8' banner should be built at 36" x 96".

• Resolution: Use at least 100 ppi at full print size for sharp results. A 24" x 24" image should be at least 2400 x 2400 pixels.

• Keep at least 2" of solid color along every edge. Because the edges get folded to the back during hemming, a busy design or fine detail right at the border can get cut off or hidden in the fold. Solid color along the edge avoids that problem.

Can I use two different designs on each side? Yes. Upload separate artwork for the front and back, or use the same file for both if you want a consistent look from any angle.

Will the design on one side show through to the other? No. The 18 oz vinyl includes a block-out layer between the two printed faces, so each side displays cleanly without interference from the opposite design.

Can this banner go outdoors? Yes. It's built for both indoor and outdoor use, with UV-resistant ink that holds up to regular sun exposure.

Will my finished banner be the exact size I ordered? It will be close, but hemming folds the edge over slightly, so finished dimensions can run about 1/2" different from what you ordered. Keep that in mind when planning tight installations.

Do I need to leave bleed on my art file? No bleed is needed for this product. Set your file up at full print size, and keep about 2" of solid color along each edge so nothing important gets folded into the hem.
